Trends 2026-2030
Traceability + digital product passports become standard for regulated & premium goods.
Regulators (e.g., EU rules) and luxury/food brands are rolling out digital product passports and provenance solutions to prove origin, sustainability claims and authenticity. Consortium models (brand coalitions) are leading adoption.
Supply-chain finance and tokenisation scale up.
Using blockchain to automate, secure and speed invoices, receivables and trade finance is a fast-growing market (strong projected CAGRs). Tokenisation of invoices and on-chain settlement will reduce friction between buyers, suppliers and lenders.
Permissioned enterprise blockchains + standards/interoperability win over public-chain hype.
Enterprises prefer Hyperledger-style permissioned networks for privacy, performance and governance; emphasis will be on cross-network interoperability and shared data standards.
Tighter integration with IoT, AI and digital twins for real-time visibility.
On-chain records combined with sensor data, digital twins and AI analytics will create multi-tier visibility (automated alerts, predictive risk scoring). Expect more end-to-end orchestration, not isolated ledgers.
Privacy-preserving tech becomes mainstream (ZK proofs, confidential computing).
To share verification without exposing commercial secrets, enterprises will use zero-knowledge proofs and confidential execution so only necessary proofs live on chain.
Focus on sustainability & efficiency (energy + carbon accounting).
Energy concerns and corporate ESG disclosure push networks toward low-energy validation (permissioned consensus, green hosting) and on-chain carbon tracking.
“Sustainability is not just the optimization of resources — it’s the ability to sustain: people, ideas, and the planet.”
THE CONSULTANT
I am Alice Kaimann, a management engineer, sustainability strategist, and dreamer at heart.
After completing my Master’s degree in Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano — with a specialization in International Business and a thesis titled “A blockchain-enhanced Product Stewardship framework for the fashion value chain” — I chose to dedicate my work to shaping a more sustainable and equitable world.
Over the years, I’ve collaborated with startups, corporations, and creative studios, supporting them in building structures that are not only profitable but also regenerative.
From data analytics and business strategy to circular design and blockchain-based traceability, my goal is to turn sustainability into an applied discipline that connects purpose and performance.
I believe in a form of intelligence that is sustainable and equal — one that challenges conventional systems, empowers innovation, and fosters growth without exploitation.
My journey is guided by both engineering precision and creative empathy: I dream of a world where sustainability becomes the default, not the exception.
PHILOSOPHY
Sustainability = The Ability to Sustain
For me, sustainability is not a trend or a label.
It’s a way of holding space for transformation, of nurturing innovation that endures.
It’s the courage to combine dream and discipline, creativity and strategy — because only when these forces meet can real progress emerge.
I work to help organizations and individuals align their business models with ethical, circular, and future-oriented principles, creating impact that lasts beyond numbers.
APPROACH
My approach is both analytical and human-centered.
Every collaboration begins with listening — understanding your values, challenges, and vision — and evolves into a tailor-made roadmap that connects business goals with social and environmental purpose.
I believe in co-creation: real sustainability happens when ideas are shared, trusted, and built together.
